Fenerbahçe began preparations for the Karagümrük match with a training session the other evening following a 3-day break. The Canaries continued their rehearsals with yesterday's session.

Due to the high number of national team players, the session, which included supplementary players from the U19 team, began with running, warm-up, and coordination exercises. After passing drills, the training concluded with a small-sided practice match. The youngsters, in particular, did their best in the practice match to impress İsmail Kartal.

They are working hard

The international break came at just the right time for Fenerbahçe. Due to consecutive injuries, many players had been forced to leave the team shorthanded recently. These days at Samandıra, intensive therapy is practically being applied for the return of the stars. Cengiz Ünder had recovered and started to get minutes in the final parts of matches before the break. However, the star footballer, who is not yet ready in terms of conditioning and physical fitness, requested to be excused from the National Team. Cengiz is working hard at Samandıra to reach the level of his teammates. Joshua King, one of the names who has overcome his injury, has started individual field training. Fred, Djiku, and Mert Hakan Yandaş are following special training programs prepared for them.

They may be ready for Karagümrük

These four footballers are expected to start training with the team from next week and be ready by the Karagümrük match. It was learned that Serdar Aziz, who underwent arthroscopy on his ankle, will return to the pitch within two weeks. The treatment process for Becao, who suffered a hamstring tendon tear and underwent surgery, is progressing positively. In the best-case scenario, the Brazilian is expected to return to his jersey in mid-January.
