The Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that the Iranian National Football Team will participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Accordingly, the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that it has decided for the Iranian National Football Team to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and that the visa procedures regarding the matter have been completed.
The federation stated that the Iranian National Football Team earned the right to participate in the tournament through its achievements and that the team is continuing its training.
