İrfan Can Kahveci reveals the goal! 'We want to be in every tournament'

National team player İrfan Can Kahveci spoke to TRT SPOR ahead of the Croatia match we will face in the European Championship Qualifiers.

Stating that he spoke with Livakovic, who will guard the Croatian goal, İrfan Can said, "It will be one of our most important matches in the group. We had an unlucky point loss in the Armenia match. I met with Livakovic in Istanbul. I told him, 'Take it easy.' He said, 'Let's at least end it in a draw.'"

Speaking about Montella's style of play, İrfan said, "Montella has clearly shown us what he wants from us. Hopefully, we can reflect what he wants on the pitch on Thursday."

Finally, expressing that they want to be in every tournament, İrfan Can said, "Our partnership with Italy is a good one. Our coach is also Italian. We want to be in every tournament. I hope we will be in Germany as well," and concluded his speech.

"I always focus on improving myself, even when things are going poorly. It would be a lie to say I didn't pay attention to what was said until now, but I didn't care too much either. Every coach has different requests. This year, our coach's requests are more suitable for my game. I hope I continue like this.

It is one of our most important matches in the group. Both the opponent and we have missing players. We talk among ourselves about wanting to be in Germany because this squad deserves to be there. I think we will get the best results from the next 3 matches and be there."

İrfan Can Kahveci: "Livakovic is a great goalkeeper, but most importantly, he is a very good character. We talked before the match, but I hope we will be the side that upsets him tomorrow.
