Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal made statements regarding the resignation rumors ahead of the league match against Gaziantep FK.

Touching upon the process that followed the Roma match, Kartal stated that a water bottle was thrown at his head from the stands during the match, noting that this had upset him.
