According to information obtained from sources close to the club, Hapoel Tel Aviv's primary plan is to transport its players and staff to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. However, the closure of the country's airspace has led the team and club officials to look for different options.
In addition to alternatives such as exiting by land through Egypt or Jordan, evacuation by passenger ship is also among the options on the table. At the same time, officials are making diplomatic efforts to obtain special flight permits.
It is reported that official notices have also been sent to other foreign players in the Israeli top basketball league, instructing them to leave the country today.
