Inter, one of Italy's historic clubs, has made an official offer for Fenerbahçe's 19-year-old talent Yusuf Akçiçek.
According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, the Milan-based club has offered 16 million Euros for the young center-back. However, the Fenerbahçe management is unwilling to accept this figure and has set the player's transfer fee at a minimum of 20 million Euros.
Fenerbahçe head coach Jose Mourinho wants Yusuf to stay with the team, and as a result, transfer negotiations are currently at a standstill. Yusuf Akçiçek is on the radar of major European clubs and is also attracting interest from PSG and several Bundesliga teams. While the young player's desire to play for a top-tier team in Europe is known, staying at Fenerbahçe remains among the possibilities.
Inter continues its strategy of investing in young players with potential for international experience. They view Yusuf Akçiçek as a player who could eventually replace Alessandro Bastoni. Inter plans to integrate the young defender into the team gradually and make him an important part of the squad in the long term.
