Colombian forward Jhon Duran, who continued his football career at Fenerbahçe before moving to Zenit on loan during the mid-season transfer window, has become the focus of transfer rumors.

It has been learned that Duran, whose name has been frequently linked with Galatasaray in recent days, arrived in Istanbul with his agent, Jonathan Herrera, to evaluate new transfer opportunities.

Although the 22-year-old player, whose registration is held by the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, is under contract until 2030, it has been noted that he is not part of the club's plans for the upcoming season. During his loan spell at Zenit, Duran appeared in 9 matches and found the back of the net twice. His temporary contract with the Russian club expires on June 30, 2026.

While speculation regarding his transfer to Galatasaray continues, a notable statement was recently made within the club community. Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. executive Abdullah Kavukcu, in his comments to the media following the Antalyaspor match, stated, "Players who wanted to come to us but went to other clubs are now sending word asking, 'Can we come to Galatasaray?' I won't name names, those who understand will understand." Sources close to the club suggest that this player is Jhon Duran.
