Joint statement from TFF, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray

A joint statement has been issued by the Turkish Football Federation, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray clubs following the postponement of the Super Cup match.

Here is the statement issued:

"Announced to the public,

In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic and the Turkish Football Federation abroad, and in a manner that would contribute to the brand value of Turkish football and our clubs, we organized with our clubs,

The 2023 Super Cup match, which was scheduled to be played on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 20:45, has been postponed to a later date as a result of a joint decision taken with our clubs due to some disruptions in the organization.

We would like to thank the Football Federation of the host country, as well as the relevant institutions and organizations, for the efforts they have shown so far for the organization of the Super Cup.
