Jorge Martin wins sprint race at MotoGP Thailand round

Spanish rider Jorge Martin of the Prima Pramac team won the sprint race at the Thailand Grand Prix, the 17th round of the MotoGP World Championship.

The sprint race, held ahead of the 17th round of the season, took place at the 4.554-kilometer Chang International Circuit in the Buriram region.

Martin, who finished the race in first place, reduced the points gap between himself and championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) to 18. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM), who crossed the finish line 0.933 seconds after Martin, took second place, while Luca Marini (Mooney VR46) finished third, 1.841 seconds behind the leader.
