Jorge Martin wins the Thailand leg of MotoGP

In the Thailand Grand Prix, the 17th leg of the MotoGP World Championship, Spanish motorcyclist Jorge Martin from the Prima Pramac team finished in first place.

In the event, which witnessed a great struggle in the championship race, the 17th stage of the season was held over 26 laps at the 4.554-kilometer Chang International Circuit in the Buriram region.

Martin, who won yesterday's sprint race, also finished today's race, which saw intense competition, in first place with a time of 39:40.0450. Italian Francesco Bagnaia from the Ducati Lenovo team finished second, 0.253 seconds behind the leader. South African Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) took third place.

Following this race, the point gap between leader Bagnaia and second-place Martin in the riders' standings narrowed to 13.

There are 3 more stages to be run in the championship, where Bagnaia has 6, Martin has 4, Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46) has 3, Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) has 2, and Alex Rins (LCR Honda Castrol) and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac) each have one race victory.

The 18th race of the season, the Malaysian Grand Prix, will be held on November 12.
