Germany National Team Head Coach Jürgen Klopp has determined the preliminary squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches. While Beşiktaş goalkeeper Alexander Nübel is included in the initial 24-man list, Galatasaray player Leroy Sane was not called up to the squad.
Klopp's selection has led to different outcomes for the two German players currently playing in the Süper Lig. While Nübel is among those expected to serve in Germany's upcoming matches, Sane has been left out of the national team squad for this period.
Germany will first travel to face the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League program on September 24. The German team will then host Greece on September 27. It was reported that Nübel is included in the squad prepared for these two matches.
Germany's fixture will continue in October. Klopp's team will host Serbia on October 1 and will face Greece away on October 4.
It was stated that the squad for the two matches in October will consist of 20 players, and a significant portion of the players in the squad for the first two matches will return to their clubs.
