In the second week of the TFF 1st League, Kayserispor hosted Sivasspor at the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadium. The yellow-reds made a fast start against their opponent, taking the lead in the third minute with a goal from Benhur Keser. Maintaining control of the game throughout the first half, Kayserispor managed to double their lead with a goal from Taulant Seferi just seconds before the break.
In the second half, although Sivasspor made moves to change the score with player substitutions, they could not find the opportunities they were looking for. While the Kayserispor defense took care not to concede chances, the visiting team's Murat Paluli was shown a red card in the 83rd minute for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, leaving his team with ten men on the pitch. Following this development, there were no more goals in the remaining minutes, and the hosts left the field with a 2-0 victory.
With this result, Kayserispor finished the first two weeks of the season without dropping any points, while Sivasspor has yet to earn a point.
Ali Şansalan officiated the match, with assistant referees Azad İlhan and Kurtuluş Aslan on duty. In Kayserispor, Sinan Kurt, Semih Güler, Tabidze, and Cenk Şen stood out in the defensive line, while Okan Erdoğan, Appindangoye, and Uğur Çiftçi came to the fore for the visiting Sivasspor.
The first goal of the match came from Benhur Keser in the third minute, while Taulant Seferi was the one who determined the final score in stoppage time. Sivasspor's Murat Paluli extinguished his team's hopes with the red card he received in the 82nd minute.
Yellow cards were issued to Seferi, Görkem Sağlam, Dulca, Tabidze, and Murat Uçar from Kayserispor, and to Ethemi and Uğur Çiftçi from Sivasspor.
With this victory, Kayserispor continues to maintain its claim in the league.
