Kayserispor President Çamlı: We will finish the league in a good position

Kayserispor President Ali Çamlı, in his statement to journalists after their 1-1 draw at home against Atakaş Hatayspor, stated that Kayserispor displayed an entertaining brand of football on the pitch.

Expressing that the point earned is valuable, Çamlı said, "The Kayserispor technical staff and players are aware of the task at hand. They are working very well. I am with them throughout the week. Today, we saw the football that resulted from that hard work. I mean, in football, you can have 6 shots hit the post in a single match."

Touching upon the importance of the habit of not losing at home, Çamlı also pointed out that referee Halil Umut Meler managed the match well, stating the following:

"Halil Umut Meler is a good referee. His team is also good. Sometimes there are mistakes during a match, but it is not right to criticize too much. I started this way and I will continue this way. There are moments when the referee makes mistakes. Now, the boards that appoint these referees will evaluate these mistakes. If there is a mistake, they will warn them, but he managed the match well."

Explaining that they created many chances in the match, Çamlı continued as follows:

"We had 8 clear chances that we created; you have to score those. We will not talk about the referee or anything like that. We have balls that we couldn't put into an empty net from 1-2 meters away. Now let's look at those. Let's not deal with the referee at all. If we do our own job, those who manage the referees and the institutions that appoint them will also do their jobs comfortably.
