Kocaelispor manages a comeback victory!

In the 1st League match played at Kocaeli Stadium, which kicked off at 20:30, Kocaelispor managed to defeat Göztepe 3-2 despite falling behind 2-0.

Göztepe's goals were scored by Kenneth Mamah in the 44th minute and Kubilay Kanatsizkus in the 71st. Kocaelispor's goals came from Daniel Candeias in the 83rd, 89th, and 90+8th minutes, all from penalty kicks.

Göztepe's goal scored by Billel Messaoudi in the 68th minute was disallowed for offside following a VAR review.

Following this result, Göztepe, currently 2nd in the league, remains at 56 points, while Kocaelispor reached 48 points and climbed to 4th place.
