Kosova is the National Football Team's opponent in the final
Kosova has become the opponent of the National Football Team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup European qualifiers play-off final.

In the 2026 FIFA World Cup European qualifiers play-off semi-final match, Kosova defeated Slovakia 4-3 away from home to secure their place in the final.
The host team took a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute with Martin Valjent, while Kosova equalized in the 21st minute through Veldin Hodza, and the teams went into the locker room tied at 1-1. Starting the second half quickly, Slovakia brought the score to 2-1 in the 46th minute with Lukas Haraslin.
A minute later, Kosova equalized the score again with Fisnik Asllani. Kosova made it 4-2 with goals from Florent Muslija in the 60th minute and Kreshnik Hajrizi in the 72nd minute, and the match ended 4-3 after David Strelec found the net in the 90+4th minute.
With this result, Kosova advanced to the final and became the opponent of the National Football Team.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup European qualifiers play-off final will be played between Kosova and Turkey on Tuesday, March 31.
