Polish footballer Robert Lewandowski will continue his career in the USA. Lewandowski, who most recently played for Barcelona, has signed a contract with Chicago Fire.

In the announcement regarding the transfer, which the club described as 'a global football icon and Poland's all-time top scorer,' it was stated that a contract valid until the end of the 2027-2028 season has been signed with the 37-year-old player.

Lewandowski, who has achieved numerous successes at both individual and club levels throughout his career, has recorded 629 goals and 159 assists in 869 matches.

Lewandowski, who also won the FIFA Best Men's Player Award twice while playing for Bayern Munich, has won 33 trophies at the clubs he has played for.

The Polish footballer appeared in 46 matches during his final season at Barcelona and contributed 19 goals.
