Lifetime contract for Jesus from Sevilla!

La Liga team Sevilla has signed an interesting agreement with their experienced star Jesus Navas. While Navas's contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season, has been extended until December 31, 2024, it was announced that he will hold a position at the club for life after he concludes his playing career.

In a statement after signing the new contract, Jesus Navas said, "I didn't think for even a minute before responding to the president's offer. I want to retire at Sevilla. I am very happy to continue working at the club I love," he said.

Stating that he had informed club president Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco that he wanted to play until December to contribute to the team, the experienced star said, "After that, I will hang up my boots, having lived the dream I always imagined playing for."
HE WILL NOT RECEIVE A SALARY IN HIS FINAL MONTHS
Stating that he will not receive a salary during his final few months as a professional footballer, Jesus Navas expressed that, in accordance with the agreement he made with the president, the fee he would have received will be donated to a foundation.

Jesus Navas, who grew up in Sevilla's youth academy, was promoted to the A-team in 2004 and transferred to Manchester City in 2013 for a transfer fee of 20 million Euros. Returning to the Spanish team in 2017, Navas has been playing for Sevilla continuously for 7 years. The experienced footballer, who has appeared in 684 matches for the Andalusian team, has scored 37 goals and provided 119 assists.
