Samsunspor Club has announced that disciplinary proceedings have been initiated in accordance with FIFA regulations against Anthony Musaba, who was alleged to be in transfer negotiations with Fenerbahçe, for failing to attend training and refusing to be included in the match squad.
In the statement released by the red-and-white club, it was stated: "Following the transfer news appearing in visual and social media, our player Anthony Musaba has effectively severed his relationship with our club. Our player Anthony Musaba did not attend yesterday's training without obtaining any permission from our club; furthermore, despite being planned to take part in yesterday's match in line with our Head Coach's decision, he refused to be included in the match squad. In this context, all disciplinary violations committed by our player Anthony Musaba have been officially recorded by our club. According to FIFA regulations, our player Anthony Musaba, who has a valid contract with our club, cannot negotiate with other clubs without our club's written permission. Likewise, no club can contact our players without our club's permission. Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated by our club against our player Anthony Musaba, who has clearly violated his existing contract and FIFA rules."
