Hosting Sheffield United at Anfield Stadium, the "Reds" secured the victory with goals from Darwin Nunez in the 17th minute, Alexis Mac Allister in the 76th minute, and Cody Gakpo in the 90th minute. The visiting team's goal came from an own goal by Conor Bradley in the 58th minute.
