A large number of people were injured in fan clashes near the stadium. Fans of the two teams were involved in a fight with stones and bottles at a cafe across from the stadium. Several nearby cars were rendered unusable.
The Famalicao Club's fan liaison officer was hospitalized while trying to intervene in the fan fight.
According to security forces, a total of 6 people, 2 of whom are in serious condition, were taken to the hospital with injuries.
