Hakan Bilal Kutlualp, who has joined the presidential race at Fenerbahçe, along with Mahmut Uslu and various Fenerbahçe associations, issued a joint statement against the club's management, criticizing board member Alp Alpoğlu's remarks regarding the election process. The statement emphasized that it was unnecessary for Alpoğlu to submit the provisions of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club Statute regarding the quorum for extraordinary general assembly meetings to the Ministry of Sports for an opinion.

The statement said, "Mr. Alpoğlu has ignored the regulation in our statute which states that 'an extraordinary general assembly decision is taken with the signatures of one-fifth of the members who pay dues'." Furthermore, it was stated that the management's stance during this process is not in line with Fenerbahçe's interests and that the will of the general assembly must be respected.

It was recalled that Fenerbahçe's statute bears similarities to those of other major clubs such as Galatasaray and Beşiktaş, and that similar processes have been experienced at those clubs as well. In the statement, the phrase "For the higher interests of Fenerbahçe, even if it requires 20 thousand signatures, we will collect these signatures," was used, emphasizing determination against the management's intimidation policies.

Finally, by stating, "Fenerbahçe is the people, and do not forget, THE PEOPLE CANNOT BE DEFEATED!" it was noted that the management's maneuvers against the will of the fans are unacceptable.
