Manchester United wins big in Spain
In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-finals, Manchester United defeated Spanish side Athletic Bilbao 3-0 away from home, gaining a significant advantage for the return leg.

The first legs of the UEFA Europa League semi-finals concluded with the matches played this evening. Spanish side Athletic Bilbao hosted English representatives Manchester United at the San Mames Barria Stadium.
The English side took a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute with a goal from Carlos Casemiro. With goals from Bruno Fernandes in the 37th minute via a penalty and in the 45th minute, Manchester United went into the locker room with a 3-0 lead.
As neither team could find the net in the second half, the English side left the pitch with a 3-0 victory.

In the night's other match, Tottenham defeated Bodo/Glimt 3-1 at home. The goals that secured the win for the English side were scored by Brennan Johnson in the 1st minute, James Maddison in the 34th minute, and Dominic Solanke via a penalty in the 61st minute. Bodo/Glimt brought the score to 3-1 with a goal from Ulrik Saltnes in the 83rd minute. This goal also marked the final result of the match.
CHELSEA RETURNS WITH AN ADVANTAGE
In the UEFA Conference League semi-finals, English side Chelsea defeated Djurgarden 4-1 away in Sweden. The goals that brought victory to Chelsea were scored by Jadon Sancho in the 12th minute, Chukwunonso Madueke in the 43rd minute, and Nicolas Jackson in the 59th and 65th minutes. The host's only goal came from Isak Alemayehu in the 68th minute.
In the night's other match, Spanish representatives Real Betis beat Italian side Fiorentina 2-1 at home. The goals that secured the win for the Spanish side were scored by Abdessamad Ezzalzouli in the 6th minute and Antony in the 64th minute. The Italian side brought the score to 2-1 after Luca Ranieri found the net in the 72nd minute.
