Mehmet Aurelio returns

Mehmet Aurelio, who served as a player for Fenerbahçe for many years and subsequently took on various responsibilities within the club, has returned for a new role. The yellow-navy club has entrusted the position of Technical Director of the U19 team, where they place great importance on the development of young players, to Aurelio.

In the announcement made by the club, it was stated: "Mehmet Aurelio has become the Technical Director of our U19 Football Team! Mehmet Aurelio, who wore our glorious jersey with success for five years and later held various positions in our A Football Team, has become the new Technical Director of our U19 Football Team. We welcome Mehmet Aurelio back to our family and wish this to be beneficial for our Club and our Football Academy. We will continue to create a spirit of unity and solidarity in every field for our Fenerbahçe with our legends."

Following his playing career at Fenerbahçe, Mehmet Aurelio had also served in various positions on technical staffs. Aiming to elevate the athletic and personal development of young players to the highest level, Fenerbahçe chose a name who wore the club's jersey for years for this critical role.

The Fenerbahçe management, aiming for new successes in the academy team by utilizing Aurelio's experience, is also hopeful about the stars to be raised from the youth setup. The club continues to strengthen the family atmosphere with its legendary players and prepare the developing generations.
