Former referee and sports commentator Ahmet Çakar has announced that he will be giving a statement due to a complaint filed by Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi.

Following the Super Cup scandal in Saudi Arabia, Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi, whose resignation has been expected by the sports community, has filed a complaint against former referee Ahmet Çakar.

In a post on his social media account, Çakar announced that he would be going to the Çağlayan Courthouse in the afternoon to give a statement.
