Mehmet Büyükekşi: We can proudly say that we are already ready for the 2032 European Championship

İGA PASS, the special passenger program of the İGA Istanbul Airport operator, has joined the official sponsors of the Turkish National Football Team and the Turkish Women's National Football Team.

A signing ceremony regarding the agreement was held at the Istanbul Airport General Aviation Terminal.

The ceremony was attended by Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi, TFF National Teams Manager Hamit Altıntop, İGA Istanbul Airport Acting CEO Selahattin Bilgen, and İGA Istanbul Airport General Aviation VIP and Protocol Operations Director Abdulkadir Özkök.

In his speech at the ceremony, Büyükekşi stated that they had signed a very important cooperation agreement.

Reminding that they will co-host the 2032 European Football Championship with Italy, Büyükekşi said, "We are signing a very important cooperation at Istanbul Airport, the pride of our country. We secured the 2032 European Championship together with Italy and realized a dream. We crowned the 100th anniversary of the Republic. We can proudly say that we are already ready for the 2032 European Championship."

Emphasizing that they guaranteed their participation in the 2024 European Football Championship before the groups were even completed, Büyükekşi noted the following:

"For the first time in our history, we will participate in the championship before the matches in the qualifying groups are finished. We will go to Wales to be the leaders. These successes have also pushed us forward in the rankings. We rose 4 places in October to reach 38th place. We were promoted to League B in the Nations League; our goal is to be promoted to League A. We are very excited about the European Championship draw. We are hopeful to achieve even greater successes there. Our national team is the youngest national team in Europe. Our partnership with İGA PASS first began in 2021. We are developing this sponsorship. İGA PASS has become one of our official sponsors. They will provide services not only to women's and men's teams but also to youth age categories. They will be by our teams' side for all their needs. We will also cooperate with them for the sale of jerseys. We will bring our crescent-and-star jersey to fans at the special sales point at Istanbul Airport with the support of İGA."

Expressing that they signed a very important cooperation today, Selahattin Bilgen said:

TFF President Büyükekşi presented Selahattin Bilgen with a number 10 jersey with 'İGA PASS' written on it.
