Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol wins comfortably in Slovakia

In the second week of the FIBA Europe Cup for Women, Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol defeated their hosts, Slovakia's MBK Ruzomberok, 87-63 in Group F.

Starting the match at the Koniaren Sports Hall in the city of Ruzomberok with strong offense, Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol ended the first quarter leading 25-19 and went into halftime with a 47-29 advantage.

Not allowing their opponent to get back into the game in the second half, Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol finished the third period ahead 65-50 and left the court with an 87-63 victory.

Securing their first win in the group, Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol saw Claudia Monica Cuic contribute 25 points, while Aaryn Deje Ellenberg-Wiley played a significant role in the victory with 16 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.
