Before the friendly match, Merih Demiral said; "Our preparations are going well. The Hungary match was bad in terms of the score, but we played well. We have a very important match tomorrow as well. Austria is also a very strong opponent. I am very happy to have returned to the national jersey. Everything is going well. Hopefully, we will finish tomorrow's match in the best way possible."
