Message from Ernest Muçi to Trabzonspor: I believe we can succeed on three fronts

Trabzonspor's Albanian footballer Ernest Muçi made evaluations regarding the goals of the burgundy-blue team ahead of the new season. Speaking to beIN Sports, Muçi said that the training camp period has been intense but the energy within the team is high.

Stating that they finished last season well, Muçi expressed that they have started the preparation process positively, saying, "We have started preparing for the new season. We finished last season in a good way. For this reason, our energy is at a high level."

Reminding that Trabzonspor will compete on three fronts in the new season, Muçi stated that the squad has been strengthened and that work focused on these goals is being carried out within the team. The Albanian footballer said, "We will compete on 3 fronts with Trabzonspor this season. I believe we can succeed this season. We have a squad capable of doing this."

Muçi also explained that the goal he scored away at Beşiktaş held a special meaning for him. Stating that he did not show a big reaction after the goal, the footballer said, "The goal I scored away at Beşiktaş was very emotional for me. I didn't react, but some things cannot be explained with words. I am happy with every goal I score. Now, I am happy in Trabzon."

Emphasizing that he did not think about leaving during the period he came to Trabzonspor on loan, Muçi said that he has built a strong bond with the club. "Actually, when I came on loan, I thought that I didn't imagine going anywhere else from here," said Muçi, stating that he believes he has not wasted the trust placed in him.

Touching upon the trust head coach Fatih Tekke has in him, Muçi said that last season went well for him but he is aiming for more. Stating that Tekke specifically asks him to help with defense, the player expressed that he is trying to improve this aspect of his game.

Stating that his natural position is in the center, Muçi noted that he can also play on the wing depending on the team's needs. Saying that he experienced a similar process at Beşiktaş, the footballer expressed that he is ready to make sacrifices when injuries or team plans require it.

Saying that he is satisfied with his life in Trabzon, Muçi explained that he has encountered the warm interest of the people in the city. Announcing that he is preparing to become a father for the second time, the footballer added that he wants to spend more time with his family.

Making an evaluation regarding the new rules to be implemented in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Muçi stated that the regulations aim to increase the time the ball stays in play, noting that this could be tiring for the players but are steps aimed at making the game more beautiful.
