Michael Jordan's sneakers sold for a record price! He wore them in championship games

Six 'single' sneakers worn by American basketball legend Michael Jordan in championship games during the 1990s have been sold for 8 million dollars at an auction held in New York City.

This sale, announced by the auction house Sotheby's, broke the record for the highest price ever paid for 'game-worn sneakers' at auction.

Sotheby's highlighted the value of this special collection of sneakers, which NBA star Michael Jordan wore in 6 championship games during the 90s. Another pair of sneakers worn by Jordan in April of last year had been sold for 2.2 million dollars.
