Modric caught swearing during Turkey match!

It has emerged that Croatia national team captain Luka Modric swore at referee Anthony Taylor during the match against Turkey.

According to reports in the Croatian press, Modric used abusive language toward referee Taylor following a play in the 88th minute. It is stated that in the incident in question, Modric said to the English referee, "F--- your blind mother, you son of a b----."

It was noted that Anthony Taylor did not know Croatian and therefore interpreted Modric's reaction as a standard protest toward a referee, showing the experienced star a yellow card.

"THE TURKS DID NOT SURPRISE US!"

Following the 1-0 loss to Turkey, Luka Modric stated, "The Turks did not surprise us. We knew they were a quality team. We lost; sometimes these kinds of losses happen. We must admit that our opponent was better than us. There is no need to panic. We trust ourselves. We have difficult matches ahead. Especially against Wales, we have no room for error."
