According to a report by İrfan Yirmibeş from Sözcü, Mourinho aims to disrupt the opponent's defensive balance by applying high pressure, especially in the first 20 minutes of the match. During this period, he plans to exploit the weaknesses of the Rangers defense with passes behind the defensive line and quick counter-attacks.
The Portuguese manager showed his players through analyses that Rangers experience turnovers when under pressure.
