In his statement, Murat Sancak said, "I would like to thank everyone on social media who has suggested or deemed me worthy of being the TFF president. However, I have no such request, no such purpose, and no such goal, and I never will. I have only one purpose and goal: I want everyone to know that I will fight in every way, without reservation, to contribute to the emergence of a team and a leader who will manage Turkish football with justice and merit, who will deal with the problems and development of Turkish football without excuses, and who will not be a man of the 4+1 clubs, but rather a team that believes in the rule of law and will govern with justice.
