National judokas win 2 bronze medals in Uzbekistan!

National judokas Tuğçe Beder and Salih Yıldız won bronze medals on the first day of the Grand Slam Tournament held in Uzbekistan, which provides quota points for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Judo Federation, national judoka Tuğçe Beder, who competed in the -48 kg category at the Grand Slam Tournament that began today in the capital Tashkent, won the bronze medal by defeating her Mongolian opponent Baasankhuu Bavuudorj with an ippon in the third-place match.

Among the male national judokas, Salih Yıldız, competing in the -60 kg category, won a bronze medal by defeating Belgian Jorre Verstraeten with an ippon in his third-place match.
