National team call-up for Trabzonspor's Paul Onuachu

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that Paul Onuachu has been invited to replace Sadiq Umar for the Africa Cup of Nations. In the statement made ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, which begins tomorrow in Ivory Coast, it was stated that Sadiq Umar, who was previously included in the squad, has been removed from the roster due to injury.

Stating that the squad change was made due to the injury situation, the Nigeria Football Federation announced that Trabzonspor's Paul Onuachu has been included in the Africa Cup of Nations squad.

The Nigerian national football team will compete against Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau in the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations. The opening match of the tournament will be played tomorrow between Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau. The champion will be determined following the final match on February 11.
