National Team holds first training session in the US: TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu also on the pitch

The National Football Team, continuing its preparations in the US ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, held its first training session in Miami. Under the guidance of Head Coach Vincenzo Montella, the session focused on tactical drills as well as passing and shooting exercises.

The National Football Team, currently in the US as part of its preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, held its first training session of the camp at the Florida Blue Training Center in Florida. The first 15 minutes of the session were open to the press.

The training, led by Head Coach Vincenzo Montella, began with running and warm-up exercises. The crescent-star players then worked on passing and shooting drills, while tactical applications were conducted during the closed-to-press portion of the session.

Kenan Yıldız continued his training in the fitness center. Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Ferdi Kadıoğlu, who were with the team during the first part of the training, later moved to an individual program.

The session was also attended by Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu, TFF 1st Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz, and General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz.

The crescent-star team will continue its World Cup preparations with a training session tomorrow. The national team will face Venezuela in their final warm-up match on Sunday, June 7, at 01:00 Turkish time (TSİ) at the Inter Miami Stadium in Florida. Following the match, the team is scheduled to travel to Arizona, which will serve as their main training camp base.
