National Team's victory hits the post: A goalless night in Kayseri

The National Football Team faced Wales in their 5th match in the UEFA Nations League B Group 4.

In the first half of the match at the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Has Stadium, the Crescent-Stars pressed the Welsh goal, but no goals were scored, and the teams went to the locker rooms tied at 0-0.

Abdülkerim Bardakcı, who received a yellow card in the 63rd minute of the match, will be suspended for the Montenegro game.

Turkey won a penalty in the 87th minute of the match. Yunus Akgün went down in the penalty area following a challenge by Neco Williams, and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.

Kerem Aktürkoğlu stepped up to take the penalty, but his shot hit the post and went out.

There were no more goals in the remainder of the match, and the game ended 0-0, just as it began.

With this result, the Red-Whites brought their points total to 11 and maintained their lead with one week remaining. Wales, having increased their points to 9, remained in 2nd place.

The National Team will face Montenegro away on Tuesday, November 19, in the 6th and final week of the Nations League. Wales will host Iceland at home.
