National wrestler Kerem Kamal becomes European champion
Competing in the European Wrestling Championships, Kerem Kamal won the gold medal in the Greco-Roman 63 kg category.

In the Greco-Roman 63 kg final at the event held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, Kerem faced Armenian Karen Aslanyan.
Kerem defeated his opponent 7-2 to become European champion once again, following his 2022 victory.
The 25-year-old Kerem secured Turkey's first gold medal at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships.
