Stating that Interpol is also playing an active role in the investigation, Burhan expressed that footballers, agents, and executives in Turkey have been placing bets abroad. He particularly emphasized that bets on Turkish league matches are being placed on betting sites in countries such as England and Germany.
Burhan stated that major matches, such as Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş, are not being played on betting sites in Turkey but on sites abroad, and that this situation has been identified by Interpol. He added that the names identified by Interpol are expected to be announced in the coming days.
