Galatasaray is preparing to sign a new contract with manager Okan Buruk. It has been noted that the club wants to continue with the successful manager, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season. 

According to a report in Milliyet, it has been learned that Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has offered Okan Buruk a 2-year contract. It is stated that Buruk has said 'Yes' to the proposed contract. 

SALARY TO INCREASE 

According to the details in the report, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk will earn 45 million lira in the first year and 50 million lira in the second year.

ACHIEVED A 2.70 POINTS AVERAGE 

Galatasaray, which won 11 consecutive matches in the Super Lig, has obtained 81 points in 30 weeks. The yellow-reds, who have achieved a 2.70 points average, are experiencing the best season in the club's history.

BROKE A RECORD 

If Galatasaray defeats Hatayspor at RAMS Park upon returning from the international break, Okan Buruk will match the 18-match home winning streak record held by his former coach Mircea Lucescu.
