A significant new development has occurred in the comprehensive investigation into betting and match-fixing in football. According to information provided by journalist Erdem Açıkgöz, the individuals arrested as part of the investigation have been transferred to Marmara Prison, located in Silivri.
Among those transferred are Fenerbahçe footballer Mert Hakan Yandaş, Galatasaray's Metehan Baltacı, and former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak.
THEY WILL STAY IN THE SAME WARD
It has been learned that the detainees sent to Marmara Prison will be held in the same ward. While a total of 20 people have been arrested so far as part of the investigation, judicial control measures have been imposed on 18 others.
Meanwhile, the detention order for referee commentator Ahmet Çakar has been lifted due to health reasons. It was stated that the investigation could expand with new information in the coming period.

It was determined that Mert Hakan Yandaş sent a total of 4 million 453 thousand 62 TL to Ersen Dikmen between December 2021 and October 2025.
It was determined that Ersen Dikmen transferred these funds to legal betting sites shortly after receiving them.
Additionally, it was recorded that Dikmen sent 2 million 60 thousand 974 TL back to Yandaş.
BETTING SLIP RECORDS ADDED TO THE FILE
In the judgeship's decision, it was stated that Ersen Dikmen created numerous betting slips starting from the date he began receiving money transfers from Yandaş. It was noted that the betting slips in the file also included bets related to Fenerbahçe matches.
