Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek has released a New Year's message.
In the message published on the yellow-red club's website, Özbek stated the following:
"We are leaving behind 2023, the 100th anniversary of our Republic, and saying hello to 2024. Galatasaray Sports Club is closing out 2023 not only with the sporting successes it has achieved but also by demonstrating the responsibility of being Turkey's largest non-governmental organization. The rapid relief action we took as a club during the earthquake disaster that deeply wounded us all, and our community's stance of prioritizing humanitarian values above all else, have been a source of pride for us. With the hope of a new year where sports are a source of happiness, I celebrate the new year of all Galatasaray fans and wish them health and well-being."
