Nigeria national team manager: Osimhen arrived injured

Nigeria manager Eric Chelle made striking remarks about Victor Osimhen in an interview with After Foot RMC.

Chelle stated that Osimhen played through the tournament while injured.

The 48-year-old manager said, "Osimhen arrived at the Africa Cup of Nations injured.

He played the entire tournament with a slight hamstring injury. Victor has a will of steel.

He wanted to help his country even if it meant risking his health. There are very few players who would agree to take the pitch in that condition."
