Sports commentator Nihat Kahveci made striking assessments regarding the possibility of Fenerbahçe signing Osimhen. Kahveci stated that if this transfer were to happen, it would be one of the biggest surprises in football history.
Kahveci noted that it would be surprising to him if Osimhen remained in the Süper Lig. 'In my opinion, the possibility of Osimhen going to Fenerbahçe is very low. If it happens, it would be a huge shock in the football world,' he said.

Speaking to Haber Global, Kahveci said that Fenerbahçe could afford the 75 million euro transfer fee required for Osimhen and could pay the player 20 million euros annually. However, he stated that considering Osimhen's relationship with Galatasaray and his popularity among the fans, he believes it is almost impossible for him to wear a Fenerbahçe jersey.
'I see the probability of Osimhen playing for Fenerbahçe as 0.001 percent,' said Kahveci, adding that such surprise transfers do occur from time to time.
