No winner in Shakhtar vs. Marseille match!

Shakhtar Donetsk and Marseille faced off in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. The match, played in Hamburg, ended in a 2-2 draw.

Marseille took a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute with a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Shakhtar Donetsk responded in the 68th minute through Mykola Matviyenko. Marseille regained the lead in the 90th minute with a goal from Iliman Ndiaye. Refusing to give up, Shakhtar Donetsk equalized once again, with Eguinaldo stepping up in the 90+3rd minute.

The return leg between the two teams will be played in France on February 22.
