Nuri Şahin, who transferred to Antalyaspor in 2020 and became the manager of the Mediterranean team after ending his active football career in the summer of 2022, is returning to Borussia Dortmund, where he began his football career.

It is alleged that the young manager transferred to the German giant Borussia Dortmund by waiving his accumulated receivables at Antalyaspor.

FIRST, ASSISTANT COACHING

According to the agreement made with Borussia Dortmund, Nuri Şahin will serve as an assistant coach in the second half of the Bundesliga. During this period, Şahin will complete his pro license training.

Nuri Şahin, whose contract with Antalyaspor was set to continue until June 2026, will waive his accumulated receivables at the red-and-whites to go to Borussia Dortmund. Şahin will also pay a certain amount of money to Antalyaspor to leave.

Nuri Şahin's assistant at Antalyaspor, Marcelo Lins Martin, had also gone to Dortmund at the beginning of the season.
