Nürnberg secures league survival with Can Uzun's goal and assist

In the 30th week of the German Bundesliga 2, FC Nürnberg defeated Elversberg 3-0 at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, securing their place in the league.

The goals that brought 3 points to FC Nürnberg were scored by Felix Lohkemper in the 43rd minute, Jan Gyamerah in the 52nd minute, and Can Uzun in the 64th minute.

National footballer Can Uzun also provided the assist for the goal scored by Felix Lohkemper.

CAN UZUN'S SEASON PERFORMANCE

Contributing significantly to his club's survival in the league with his successful performance in Nürnberg this season, Can Uzun recorded 19 goals and 4 assists in the 32 matches he played.

EXPECTED TO LEAVE AT THE END OF THE SEASON

The 18-year-old star footballer, whose contract with the club runs until June 30, 2027, is set to leave Nürnberg at the end of the season.

FC Nürnberg, which will play its final league match against Hamburg, currently sits in 12th place with 40 points after 33 matches.
