A formal development has taken place regarding Abdülkadir Ömür, whose departure from Trabzonspor had been on the agenda.

Trabzonspor has officially announced that Abdülkadir Ömür has transferred to Hull City.

The statement read: "An agreement has been reached for the permanent transfer of our professional footballer Abdülkadir Ömür to Hull City. According to the agreement, Hull City will pay our Club 2,500,000 EUR as a contract termination fee. Within the scope of the agreement, if Hull City is promoted to the English Premier League while the player is still under contract, they will pay our Club an additional 2,500,000 EUR. Furthermore, in the event that the player is loaned to another club and/or a permanent transfer occurs, 50% of the transfer fee obtained, after deducting the amounts paid/to be paid to our Club due to this agreement, will be paid to our Club. Also, in accordance with the agreement, our Club will have the right of first refusal in the event of the player's transfer back to Turkey."

Hull City Manager Liam Rosenior made the following comments after the signing: "I first met Abdüş when we played against Trabzonspor in a friendly match in Antalya, and I immediately realized what a good player he was. When we realized we could sign him, we felt it was a great opportunity for us. He played a big part in Trabzonspor winning the championship. He has also played for his country's national team. The fans will enjoy watching him."
