It has been announced that Victor Osimhen will not be able to play in two matches for the Nigerian National Team due to injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation announced that the star footballer's recovery process is ongoing due to a muscle strain and that he will therefore not be in the squad for the AFCON 2027 qualifying matches.
The federation's statement read, “Victor Osimhen will not be able to play for Nigeria in the AFCON 2027 qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau as he continues his recovery process due to a muscle strain. We wish Victor a speedy recovery.”
