Okan Buruk rebels! 'Who is leaking the starting XI?'

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk made a striking statement ahead of the Kasımpaşa match.

In his statement, Okan Buruk said, "While preparing for this match, we saw our squad being broadcast on television during the day. This saddens us greatly. We do not know who is getting this news or where they are getting it from. Discussions about the Galatasaray squad began a full day in advance. No one knew that Nelsson and Ziyech would be playing."

Speaking about Hakim Ziyech, Buruk said, "Hakim will start in the first XI for the first time in a long while. We thought this way to help him get used to the game, but we do not intend to give him too much playing time."

Okan Buruk stated, "Mauro Icardi needs a long rest period. It is better for us that he plays these types of matches. Resting him for 10 days will not be enough, and he would lose his match rhythm in the meantime. The matches are, in a way, like training for him as well."

Addressing the criticism surrounding Ndombele, he said, "There are allegations being made about Ndombele. Every kind of lie is bad. Our club will take the necessary actions.
