Okan Buruk returns to the old system
After Mauro Icardi was ruled out for the rest of the season, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, who had been searching for a new system, was left unsatisfied with the 3-4-1-2 formation he tested in the Bodrumspor match. Buruk has decided to return to the team's previous tactical setup and continue with 4-2-3-1.

Bodrumspor Having tested the 3-4-1-2 system in the home match against, Okan Buruk decided to make a change, believing that this formation hindered the team's quality of play. The experienced manager aims to reflect Galatasaray's playing identity back onto the pitch with the 4-2-3-1 formation.
OSIMHEN ALONE UP FRONT
In the new plan, Victor Osimhen will serve as the lone striker. Yunus Akgün will play on the right wing, Mertens behind the striker, and either Barış Alper Yılmaz or Sallai will feature on the left wing. Buruk, who will not give up on the midfield duo of Torreira and Sara, plans to increase the team's central resistance with these players.
WHO WILL PLAY IN DEFENSE HAS BEEN DETERMINED
While the defensive tandem of Abdülkerim Bardakcı and Davinson Sanchez remains unchanged, Kaan Ayhan or Jelert are expected to play at right-back, and Jakobs at left-back. However, in the event of an injury to Jakobs, Berkan Kutlu could step in as an alternative in that position.
ATTACKING POWER TO INCREASE WITH BATSHUAYI
Michy Batshuayi, who has managed to score goals in critical moments after coming off the bench, will be one of Buruk's most important attacking weapons. The technical staff has also put on the agenda parting ways with some players who fell below expectations in the first half of the season and making additions to the squad during the transfer window.
